Wednesday & Alice

These girls were Fez's siblings. Although their lives were short, they left a huge impact on our hearts and influence the care we provide to all of our current cats.

Grizz
Grizz

No words can express how much we miss Grizzelda. Everywhere she went, people fell in love. She was a chirper and Fez's best friend. Brought into our rescue at just a few days of age, she was to be Fez's foster sibling. Little did we know they would fall in love with each other so deeply, Grizz decided to join her brother just a week after his own passing. They did not share an illness, and each became ill from vastly different problems. We cannot help but think they just needed to be with each other, even in death. Thank you for always taking care of your little brother, sweet Grizz.

Mercury
Mercury

This beautiful feral gal was mother to five healthy, happy babies, who are all doing well in their furever homes. She was such a kind soul (when it came to other cats!), taking in five more babies - known as the Fire Babies - when their own mother passed away in a terrible fire. She did not think twice, and immediately started providing care to them all. Unfortunately, at her spay, her vets discovered what was likely a large, cancerous mass. We made the hard decision to euthanize her then, while she was already under anesthesia, so she would not have to suffer.

Tina
Tina

Although we only had Tina for a week, she touched everybody who met her. She was outgoing, silly, and just downright loveable. Unfortunately, a congenital kidney abnormality took her from us far too soon, and there was nothing we could have done to save her, despite all the wishes to do so. From Tina's fosters: Every morning she would be curled up next to me and sleep to my right, she did this cute little thing where she made biscuits with her head in the blanket and sucked on it, like she was dreaming. She wasn't big enough to jump on the bed so she would climb the sheets and you would see her little head emerge from the side. Whenever you said, hi Tina sweet girl, anything like that she would give you a little meow and blink. She was the spunkiest little cat, she ignored Olives rejections for friendship and kept trying, they were cuddling by her last day. She warmed the hearts of everyone she met. She had the sweetest soul and biggest appetite, she even bit a tiny piece pancake out of my mouth when I was eating it at my desk her second day here. She also really enjoyed Jazz music. She would sit with my while I worked, she would follow us into every room and like the other cats, always greet us when we came back home. We always said who ever ended up with her would be so lucky, she was an angel of a kitty. Spencer had gotten me a stuffed animal cat with stripes for vday, we said it looked just like her... i hope you don’t mind we kept her collar and put it on this kitty to always have her with us. She truly touched our hearts more than we could've ever imagined and last night and this morning were extremely hard. We're sad to lose her but at least she never lost us. Although the time seems short on paper, we will always carry her in our hearts. We love her and her memory lives on forever...
